I missed last week’s post to this blog because of an exciting reason – I rediscovered the tarot, after quite a while. I couldn’t put them down last week and since, something I didn’t experience for a long time, actually not ever.
Some years ago I bought the Mythic Tarot, of which Liz Green is one of the authors. It’s only because it was Liz Green, from whom I learned so much about astrology from the beginning in the teenage years. I also bought the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, but actually hardly used both since.
From my investigating YouTube I stumbled upon some tarot card readers, with ASMR and without, and eventually decided to try it myself just for fun. And I’ve been hooked since, for 2 weeks already.
The reason for that is the difference between now and then – till now if I used the tarot it was quite lazily, or “intuitively” – didn’t bother to study thoroughly the meanings of the cards and just tried to tap into the spread meaning based on the impression from the pics alone. Maybe for some it’s a great method, but for me it didn’t take me too far.
Now, while investigating the results of each spread with books online and off, I was just amazed and mesmerized by their accuracy and responsiveness, it’s quite magical, TBH.
Astrology can be surprising and amazing in the results of it’s patterns, while comparing them with the real life and discovering the amazing synchronicities. in Tarot, it just kind of happens live in front of your eyes as you draw. You can see immediately the response to the question in your mind, and witness the workings of the same synchronicity with your life – past, present and probably future.
So I bought some more tarot and also oracle decks, mostly modern ones, and we’ll see how it goes. Happy divining 😉.
