Even though it’s not an eclipse season right now, it’s worth mentioning the possible influence of these events, especially when their effects last way beyond their exact time of occurrence.
It’s well known among astrologers that eclipses have an effect of possible major change, for better or for worse. Similar in a way to the potentially disruptive influence of an Uranus transit, but not necessarily in a innovative, progressive way, and not necessarily with an underlying drive for freedom, typical of the Uranian influence.
As an example of such impact, I can attest to a personal experience of a lunar eclipse, that happened exactly to the degree on one of my natal planetary placements, specifically in the 6th house. This was so powerful, that it took me by surprise. But after connecting between the events and the eclipse, it wasn’t such a surprise after all.
The obviousness of it happening in the 6th house was quite striking, because the dramatic change happened actually in the workplace involving other co-workers, while dealing with basically a health issue – all major manifestations of the 6th house. It wasn’t entirely surprising, like coming out of the blue typical of Uranus, but it had the similar emotional and mental effect of utter disruption and upheaval.
Without going too much into details, I can tell that this triggered a need for realignment in all kinds of ways, and felt like a turning point in the matters relating to the mentioned matters of the 6th house, specifically health and work (the routine, day-to-day aspect of it). And it was a big deal in my personal life, unlike all the previous eclipses, because it happened on the exact degree of one of my natal personal planets. It just felt personal, but after realizing that it was kind of fated, it became somewhat less impactful and more bearable, in a way.
Once I didn’t make much of the eclipses and it seemed like many astrologers inflate their importance. But this experience showed me that I was wrong and eclipses really should be taken seriously, as their impact can be quite dramatic.
